As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents.

You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or irregular activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site leaders. At Allied Universal, you will bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset every shift.

Job Schedule:

• Friday: 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
• Saturday: 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM
• Sunday: 01:00 PM – 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including writing detailed reports and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards and maintenance issues.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, monitoring deliveries and driver check-ins, and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other systems as assigned, and coordinate with site teams and/or local responders when conditions warrant.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
