Sonic Bothy and the Scottish Music Centre are seeking four members to join the Disability Arts Advisory Group (DAAG) to guide the initial development of Resound:
Scotland’s Inclusive Music Collection.
This new digital archive collection celebrates the work and legacy of contemporary Disabled music artists in Scotland.
We welcome interest from people with lived experience of disability who want to help shape how Disabled artists’ work is represented, archived and shared. You may be:
- Disabled and Neurodivergent artist working in any form or genre of music.
- Someone with lived experience of disability working in or involved in music-focused Arts, in areas such as arts management, advocacy, community engagement, and archives.
Contributors will be paid £75 per session (max. 3 hours per session). This role includes three paid contributions, totalling £225 per contributor.
We are committed to access-led participation. We will work with Advisory Group members to identify and support individual access requirements, including captioning, BSL interpretation and flexible ways of contributing. Advisory Group sessions will be held remotely with optional in-person meet-ups in central Glasgow.
You do not need to have prior experience with archive collections or formal panels. We welcome a range of experiences, including those new to advisory work.

Your statement can be written, audio or video. All formats are equally welcome. As a guide, your application should be no longer than two A4 pages or an equivalent length in audio or video.
