Part-Time Evening Cleaning Technician

Museum at Forest Preserve – Romeoville, IL

Pay Rate: $17/hour

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented, part-time cleaning techs to help keep a beautiful museum facility clean, stocked, and guest-ready.

Pay: $17/hour

Shift: Approximately 3.5 hours/night beginning after 9:00 PM (following preserve closing)

• April 1 – May 31: 5 nights/week
• September 1 – October 31: 5 nights/week
• Remaining months: 3 nights/week (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday)

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Maintaining locker room areas
• Kitchen cleaning/upkeep
• General building cleaning and detail work
• Trash removal / restocking supplies
• Helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment for visitors and staff

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working independently
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Able to perform routine cleaning tasks and light physical work
• Previous janitorial/custodial experience
• Has a vehicle, a plus but not required
