Education Specialist – STEM Woodruff Elementary

The job of Education Specialist was established for the purpose of providing support to the instructional process by serving as instructor with specific responsibility for developing student success; supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students, parents, or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.

In this role, the STEM Education Specialist will support hands‑on, engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and problem‑solving in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The specialist will assist in implementing STEM activities, support classroom instruction, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

• Assist in the development and delivery of STEM-focused lessons and activities
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate STEM into daily instruction
• Prepare, organize, and maintain instructional materials and STEM resources
• Monitor student behavior and progress, providing feedback to teachers
• Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas
• Help create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment

5.5 per day

$20.36 per hour

Applicant must be highly qualified (a minimum of 48 college credit hours or the ability to pass the Parapro test). Please call Human Resource Department about testing dates and times.
