Overview
Support programs that strengthen healthy homes and thriving communities. The Extension Home and Community Department focuses on nutrition, financial well-being, mental health, and family relationships. This internship offers hands‑on experience assisting with research‑based education and outreach designed to improve quality of life. Interns will deliver programs, develop educational materials, and connect with community members in meaningful ways. Appts provide both independent and team work with some scheduling flexibility.
Responsibilities
1. Program & Event Support
- Schedule and deliver health and wellness trainings
- Organize community events
- Collect and report program data
- Support peer support apprentices to submit their program tracking
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree
- Have an interest in the Extension program
- Dependable

- This internship requires regular in‑person/on‑site work in Salt Lake and Tooele Counties (≈1.5–2 hours south of the main USU campus in Logan, UT). Are you willing and able to fulfill this requirement?
