Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services design team in our London office. You’ll be part of a multi‑disciplinary department providing detailed Building Services designs for building‑related projects in the UK and overseas. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office/on site and the option of adjusted start and finish times.

What does the role involve?- Undertaking outline and detailed designs and specifications for electrical works.
- Providing day to day technical input as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
- Ensuring design output is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of works, timescales and budgets.
- Working in close collaboration with colleagues from other disciplines as required to deliver project requirements and added value to the client.
- Attending design and site meetings.
- A degree in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) and chartered status (or be working towards achieving chartered status) with a relevant professional institution.
- A good working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Clash Detection and Amtech.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role with strong project management skills.
- The ability to manage a variety of projects meeting varying deadlines.
- Strong problem‑solving skills working alongside architects and contractors to consider problems and come up with innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to your audience.
- Up to date knowledge of the UK construction market.
