Associate Electrical Engineer – Data Centres

Our firm seeks an experienced electrical building services design engineer specialising in data centre design. The role is based in our London office and is a permanent position.

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver technically excellent and profitable data centre projects. The projects range from plant upgrades to 100MW+ hyper‑scale developments for high‑profile clients.

• Collaborate across disciplines to manage project delivery.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor junior engineers.
• Support the training and development of less experienced team members.
• Communicate effectively and exercise initiative to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities include design of critical electrical systems such as UPS, generators, and MV/LV switch gear.

Relevant experience in electrical building services for data centres is required. Demonstrated knowledge of critical systems and the ability to work in a collaborative, client‑focused environment are essential.

Consistently deliver technically sound work to client brief; evidence of managerial skill development across people, finance, marketing, and project management.
