Job Title: Legal Accounts Assistant

The role supports the financial operations of the growing Social Housing practice, managing client and office accounts, ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, and supporting month‑end financial processes.

- Managing daily client account transactions in accordance with SRA Accounts Rules
- Performing client and office account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Processing client billing, completion statements, transfers, and financial transactions
- Supporting office accounts, supplier payments, expenses and month‑end finance processes
- Assisting with compliance, audits, and financial reporting requirements
- Working closely with conveyancing and operational teams to support client matters and finance‑related queries
- Previous experience within legal accounts, finance, bookkeeping or a similar role
- Working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using legal accounting software, Xero or Quick Books would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Proactive, reliable and capable of managing workloads in a fast‑paced environment
