Position: Senior HR Manager - 12 month FTC
Location: Greater London

Senior Human Resources Manager – 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Oakleaf are partnering with a global professional services firm to recruit a Senior HR Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a strategic, hands‑on role providing trusted HR advice to senior leaders across Europe in a fast‑paced, multi‑country environment. This role is covering someone moving internally to support a project. You will lead on‑the‑ground HR Advisors in Europe and work closely with EMEA HR colleagues and Centres of Excellence (Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards) to deliver consistent, high‑quality HR services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR professional to influence business strategy, lead complex people initiatives, and operate at a pan‑European level. You must have prior experience supporting Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver people strategies across multiple European locations (circa 170 employees).
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, employment legislation, consultation, and organisational change.
  • Manage, develop, and support HR team members to ensure strong operational delivery in regional offices.
  • Collaborate with EMEA HR colleagues and Centres of Excellence.
  • Act as a credible escalation point for high‑risk or complex people matters.
Requirements
  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Manager or HR Business Partner in a multi‑country European environment, ideally within professional services or financial services. This is a non‑negotiable.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations in Germany and Poland.
  • Proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Ability to influence and coach senior leaders with credibility.
  • Experience managing complex change, restructuring, and sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Strong commercial judgment, balancing compliance, risk, and business priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
