Data Modeller

Your New Role
The Data Modeller will define the initial enterprise and platform-aligned data model strategy supporting the implementation of Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claim Center. The role will help establish a foundational understanding of underwriting, policy, claims, party, and financial data structures required for SI procurement and programme mobilisation.

Your Responsibilities

* Develop conceptual and logical data models across:
o Policy
o Risk
o Coverage
o Claims
o Parties
o Broker
o Exposure
o Financials
o Reinsurance
o Reference/master data

* Analyse current-state data landscape and source systems

* Identify key data quality and data lineage challenges

* Support:
o Data migration strategy
o Integration strategy
o Canonical data model discussions
o Reporting requirements
o Future-state architecture definition

* Work with architects and business SMEs to align Guidewire data structures with business requirements

* Support creation of SI RFP artefacts related to data scope and migration complexity

You Will Have

* Strong insurance data modelling experience

* Experience on PAS or claims transformation programmes

* Knowledge of specialty/London Market data domains

* Experience with:
o ER modelling
o Data dictionaries
o Data lineage
o Canonical models
o Data mapping

* Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders

Desirable

* Prior Guidewire data model experience

* Familiarity with:
o Data migration tooling
o Cloud data platforms
o Reporting/BI ecosystems
o ACORD standards
