• Preparing, setting up, and dismantling laboratory equipment and materials for practical lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Maintaining a safe, well-organised, and fully stocked laboratory environment at all times
• Supporting teachers during practical lessons and assisting pupils with equipment use where appropriate
• Managing chemical and biological stock, ensuring safe storage and disposal in line with CLEAPSS guidelines
• Carrying out basic maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment and reporting wider issues promptly

The ideal Science Technician will hold a relevant Science qualification - A-Level, degree, or equivalent - from a reputable UK institution. Previous experience in a laboratory or school technician role is highly desirable. The school is seeking a meticulous, dependable, and safety-conscious Science Technician with strong organisational skills and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting excellent Science education.
