Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager, you will play a key leadership role on our Complete Care at Monmouth clinical team—overseeing daily operations, supporting and mentoring nursing staff, and ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care. Your leadership will help create a positive, collaborative environment where both residents and team members feel supported.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager Qualifications & Responsibilities:
  • Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Practical Nurse License
  • Prior experience as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Unit Manager in a long-term care setting is preferred
  • Atleast 1 year of experience managing staff is preferred
  • Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by: monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care
  • Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift
  • Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members
  • Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines
  • Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residents
  • Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator
