Position: Sr OT Security Sales Representative-Process Automation (Texas)

Job Description

As a Sr Sales Representative you will utilize your sales expertise in Cyber Operational Technology (OT) to develop cutting‑edge security solutions specifically designed to address the unique needs of our clients. Propel significant sales growth in the Cyber OT Security sector throughout East Texas.

Cyber OT Products/Services you will be selling:
All Honeywell’s Cybersecurity products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Planning:
    Develop and execute a detailed, strategic sales plan aimed at achieving or exceeding an annual quota of $5-7 million, setting sales targets and timelines, analyzing market trends, and identifying growth opportunities in the OT security sector.
  • Business Development:
    Identify and aggressively pursue new business opportunities within the OT Cybersecurity market, leveraging industry contacts and market intelligence to expand the client base and employ advanced prospecting techniques.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain long‑term relationships with clients across various industries, understanding their unique OT environments and cybersecurity challenges to become a trusted advisor.
  • Solution Customization:
    Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers and product development, to design and deliver customized Cyber OT security solutions that address client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Industry Expertise:
    Stay informed on the latest trends, threats, and regulatory requirements in OT Cybersecurity, and actively engage in continuous learning to maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
  • Demonstrations and Training:
    Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations for prospective clients, communicating the value of OT Cybersecurity solutions and how they mitigate operational risks.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to management, analyze data to identify trends and improvement areas, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
  • Networking and Representation:
    Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility and build a strong personal brand that facilitates new business opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in OT Cybersecurity sales or a related field with a proven track record of selling complex security solutions.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas, particularly in the OT Cybersecurity sectors.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity products and solutions applicable to OT environments, including network security, incident response, and risk management.
  • Ability to travel 50% to visit clients throughout East Texas.
  • Candidate must reside within the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, a customer‑oriented attitude, and the ability to foster relationships that drive sales success.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000–140,000. The actual base salary depends on experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. The role is incentive eligible.
