Driver Operator - Class A - Level 1

As a Driver Operator, you will safely operate heavy trucks and specialized equipment, ensuring cargo is loaded and unloaded correctly, managing all necessary paperwork, and performing thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. You will maintain vehicle upkeep, stay on schedule, and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers in a physically demanding environment.

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and regulations, and adhering to hours‑of‑service requirements.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured, and manage paperwork related to shipments.
• Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verify instructions and routes.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers, maintain accurate trip logs, and document deliveries.
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Transport non‑hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures.
• Perform industrial work and biohazard cleanups.
• Assist in the removal of soil, debris, and cleanup of spill sites.
• Other duties as assigned.

• CDL Class A License.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to read, write, and do mathematics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and work at heights.
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection, and remain clean‑shaven while working around hazardous waste.
• Ability to work in a confined space and in both office and physical jobsite settings.
