Software Engineering Internship, Embedded Systems (Summer 2026)

Compensation: $45/hour

We are seeking talented software engineers for a summer internship focused on embedded systems for upcoming spacecraft. You will work closely with the engineering team to develop software that controls our satellite buses, including microcontroller firmware, simulations, and user interfaces. This is an opportunity to contribute to the future of space technology and gain hands‑on experience under the guidance of senior mentors.

• Develop and improve embedded software for satellites and microcontroller devices.
• Write firmware for new hardware components that will be part of future spacecraft.
• Collaborate with the team on simulations and user interface development.
• Participate in learning sessions, community events, and mentorship meetings.
• Deliver a summer project with measurable impact on reliability and efficiency.

• Graduating Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 with a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Strong desire to learn about satellite technology and interest in innovation.
• Ability to take ownership of complex challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
