Software Engineer - Revenue Infrastructure

Role Overview

The Revenue Infrastructure team’s mission is to streamline revenue financial workflows so our financial teams can close the books with a high degree of accuracy and confidence. The systems we build need to be scalable and accurate as we handle revenue operations for all Netflix customers. Projects include building infrastructure for revenue ads integration, settlement, and cash reconciliation of all Netflix subscription payments, generating invoices for bundle partners, and revenue partner workflows.

As an engineer on the team, you will work with Product Managers, cross‑functional engineering teams, and Revenue Finance to design and evolve architectures that can handle massive data and build highly configurable pipelines to support global workflows for complex financial functions.

• Design and evolve scalable architectures for high-volume revenue data pipelines.

• Client with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust financial solutions.
• Employ test‑driven development and maintain high code quality.
• Work independently, delivering innovative solutions with minimal guidance.
• Make data‑modeling decisions based on upstream/downstream systems and processes.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience in building business‑critical, reliable, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed data processing, software engineering design, and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or another JVM language.
• Experience with gRPC, Graph
  
  QL, or RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Pub‑Sub (Kafka) and stream processing (Spark/Flink, etc.).
• Expertise in building secure, scalable, and highly available distributed applications.
• Understanding of the modern ad‑technology ecosystem with a focus on fintech.
• Strong bias towards action and ability to deliver results in complex cross‑functional projects.

The range for this role is $ - $. Compensation consists solely of an annual salary; the company allows flexibility to allocate between salary and stock options.
