An established manufacturing site in the LE11 area is looking to recruit two Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to strengthen its engineering team.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, ideal for an engineer with a strong mechanical background and basic electrical competence.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults (bearings, belts, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)
• Supporting electrical fault finding where required (sensors, motors, basic controls)
• Contributing to continuous improvement and breakdown reduction
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical skillset with basic electrical knowledge (70/30 or 60/40 split)
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Comfortable working continental shifts
