Production Team Leader; Supervisor

Refresco, the world’s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer is seeking a Production Team Leader for our Kegworth Site. You will play an important role in making sure some of the best-known drink’s brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers. You will be part of a supportive team, led by the Area Manager, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.

As Production Team Leader your main tasks and duties will be:

• Leading a Production Team to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment, fulfilling the production plan requirements and demonstrating an audit ready production environment at all times.
• Driving the performance of the process function and/or operation of product equipment/machinery and packaging equipment/machinery including fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities to maximise OEE performance.
• Auditing all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
• Leads departmental internal and external auditing activities, traceability exercises and product trials.
• Motivate and manage people activities to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
• Identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implementing development plans to enhance Standards within the team.
• Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
• Working as a key member of the Production Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
• Leading the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
• Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.
• Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.

You will be paid a salary of £45,459.42
, inclusive of a 10% shift allowance
. Your shift pattern will be 3 on 3 off - 12 hour shift - Days and nights - 6 to 6. In addition, you will have 3x your annual base salary life assurance, a good company pension scheme

For the role of Production Team Leader you will need experience in an advanced manufacturing role with mechanical experience, particularly previous filling experience would be preferred. It is also an advantage if you have a food production background.
