Adjunct Nursing Faculty Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator/Online Program Director/Department Chair on an academic assessment plan including measures and reporting of data.
  • Participate in curriculum review and achievement of program outcomes.
  • Maintain rigor and consistency within the nursing program.
  • Assist in the achievement and maintenance of accreditation standards.
  • Promote the growth of the School of Nursing.
  • Maintain a faculty course load according to the University faculty load policy.
  • Collaborate on reports and budget needs.
  • Attend faculty meetings and university trainings.
  • Demonstrate excellence in teaching.
Qualifications
  • Hold a Master of Science degree in Nursing; doctorate preferred.
  • Hold a current and unrestricted APRN license in the state of Kentucky or be willing to apply for licensure.
  • Have a minimum of two years of experience within the last five years as an APRN.
  • National certification in Family Practice.
  • Demonstrate a history of employee excellence.
Compensation

Standard adjunct rate per credit hour.
