As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the following:
- Completing preventative maintenance on all wreckers and equipment
- Repairing all equipment as needed
- Ordering all filters and chemicals needed for the department
- Delegating work to mechanic helper
- Maintaining preventative maintenance
- Boarding and tracking miles and hours of all equipment
- Assisting and attends safety meetings and translates to Spanish when needed
- Ordering tools and equipment for repairs
- Vehicle maintenance, included but not limited to:
Inspections - Paperwork on repairs
- Keeping area clean and in good housekeeping for inspections
- High School Graduate - BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs repetitively and up to 75lbs occasionally
- Personal Protective Equipment required. Gloves and any other safety gear will be issued upon request
- Bilingual a plus
- Fork Lift RTF Case 586G Preferred Experience a plus!
