Electrical Engineer Sr

You will be an Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), joining one of the largest networks of engineering professionals. Our team is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, and we're looking for a talented engineer to join our team.

• Supporting engineers from other Lockheed Martin sites in failure investigation and troubleshooting
• Leading failure investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action
• Providing technical disposition/recommendation for production hardware
• Presenting technical issues to program leadership and occasionally to SHIELD, ensuring accurate and appropriate presentations
• Coordinating activities between production sites and the program to clear constraints to DD250

• Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry
• Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA)
• Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality
• Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically

• Experience with developing engineering estimates for proposals and reviewing suppliers’ estimates
• Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
• Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during failure investigation
• Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
• Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting
• Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production
• Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
• Active DoD Secret

This position is in Lufkin, Texas.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
