Description
You will be an Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC), joining one of the largest networks of engineering professionals. Our team is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries, and we're looking for a talented engineer to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing- Supporting engineers from other Lockheed Martin sites in failure investigation and troubleshooting
- Leading failure investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action
- Providing technical disposition/recommendation for production hardware
- Presenting technical issues to program leadership and occasionally to SHIELD, ensuring accurate and appropriate presentations
- Coordinating activities between production sites and the program to clear constraints to DD250
- Experience in electrical hardware design for both development and production phases in aerospace or a similar industry
- Ability to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA)
- Experience using electrical/electronic test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and automated testing equipment for troubleshooting circuit card assemblies and other electrical hardware
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process and quality
- Ability to travel approx. 10% of time domestically
- Experience with developing engineering estimates for proposals and reviewing suppliers’ estimates
- Certified or working knowledge of Control Account Management (CAM)
- Experience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during failure investigation
- Strong background in cross-discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification
- Previous experience in a Material Review Board (MRB) role, particularly in a production setting
- Experience working non-conformance disposition of hardware for production
- Prior experience of PAC-3 program, Production processes, Failure Investigation, Root Cause and Corrective Actions
- Active DoD Secret
This position is in Lufkin, Texas.
Security ClearanceThis position requires U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance.
