AMI Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner.

* Work with a partner in most cases.

* Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.

* May work in hot environment (epoxy).

* Cleans and inspects tubing prior to stator injection process.

* Operates surface blasting equipment and blast tubing per specifications.

* Operates equipment to apply primer and glue to stator tubing assemblies.

* Operates injection equipment and injects rubber into stator tubing assemblies.

* Cures stator assemblies utilizing high temperature tanks.

* Follows Company's Compliance requirements.

* Maintains and improves the quality management system.

* Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

* Regardless of other duties, the Assembly operator has a responsibility to follow LUFKIN production, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Education and Training:
High school or as deemed sufficient by management

* Technical Requirements: ability to read and interpret routine instructions; use of general hand tools and measuring equipment; basic computer skills; ability to operate moving equipment

* Experience:

At least 2 years work experience in similar role, or as deemed sufficient by management
