About the RoleAs a Material Handler, you’re the engine that keeps our donations flowing! You’ll load, unload, sort, and move items so they can get to the right place — whether it’s the sales floor, a processing area, or recycling. You’ll also help keep our warehouse and donation areas safe, clean, and organized. It’s a role for someone who likes to stay active, take pride in their work, and be part of a team that’s building something bigger than themselves.

- Greet donors and treat everyone with dignity and respect
- Safely load and unload trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts
- Transport boxes, bins, and crates to the correct departments
- Sort donations by category for processing or resale
- Break down and dispose of recyclables properly
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas (warehouse, dock, and lot)
- Assist in moving store fixtures and merchandise as needed
- Follow all Goodwill policies, safety rules, and operational procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout your shift
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) warehouse equipment
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
This is an active, physical job — you’ll work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions, and will regularly use equipment like forklifts, balers, and pallet jacks.
