We are a specialized private school serving neurodivergent students through a collaborative model that combines academics, communication, social-emotional learning, and individualized support.

We are currently seeking caring, energetic, and dependable Paraprofessionals / Teaching Assistants to join our growing team for the 2026–2027 school year.

Pay

Starting at $16–$18/hour

W-2

Based on experience, education, and related skills

Schedule & Benefits

Monday–Friday

Consistent daytime school schedule

No nights or weekends

Holidays and breaks (up to 4 weeks)

PTO accrual available for eligible full time employees

What You’ll Do

As a Paraprofessional / Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to help students succeed throughout the school day.

Responsibilities may include:

Supporting students during academic instruction

Assisting with classroom routines and transitions

Supporting students during transitions between activities, classrooms, and daily routines

Supporting students during parent drop-off and pick-up routines

Helping implement behavior and communication supports

Supporting students during lunch, recess, specials, and community activities

Encouraging independence, social skills, and participation

Preparing classroom materials and helping maintain an organized environment

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and leadership staff

Creating a warm, positive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere

Ideal Candidates Are:

Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented

Comfortable working with children with autism and other developmental differences

Flexible and willing to learn

Organized with good time management

Positive, professional, and dependable

Able to remain calm in fast-paced situations

Passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with children preferred

Experience in education, ABA, childcare, ESE, therapy, camps, or related settings is a plus

High school diploma required

RBT certification is a plus, but not required
