Instructional Position

Full Time, Benefit Eligible

Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• OR
• Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program

• Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in field or District CTE Certification
• OR
• Valid statement of eligibility
• Industry Certification/License when applicable
• 5-9 Math OR 5-9 Science

This position may require you to teach an additional period beyond your base contract. If this occurs, you will receive additional compensation at the effective negotiated rate in addition to your base salary for instructing this additional period. This amount will be paid as a supplement and will be disbursed in equal payments based on the District's established payroll calendar for this position.

This amount is considered part of your salary for Florida Retirement System purposes.
