Band 7 0.5 WTE (2.5 days) 18.75 hours part‑time permanent post.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Psychotherapist to join our established adult community Eating Disorders Team. You will be joining an experienced and welcoming multidisciplinary team that highly values psychotherapeutic work.
We are keen to attract the right candidates and consider locality working. This role will involve remote/hybrid working, with a requirement to work from the office on certain days to meet the needs of the service.
Shortlisting will commence on 4 March 2026 and the proposed interview date is 23 March 2026.
Main duties of the jobProvide talking therapies to clients with eating disorders, provide supervision/training to other staff and act as part of the multidisciplinary team. You will carry a caseload of complex clients and be an important contributor to team management of the most complex cases presented to the service.
The successful candidate will undertake direct clinical work, supervision, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development, as well as consulting and guiding on client psychological care from a trauma‑informed perspective. The team uses CBT, CAT, EMDR and integrative therapy and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake further training.
Previous experience of eating disorders is essential. You will be provided with professional and clinical supervision and there will be multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills. Opportunities to link with other practitioners in the eating disorder community and inpatient services across the Trust and beyond are available.
