Job Description

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:

* Safely operating a delivery vehicle to transport food to designated locations

* Loading, unloading, and handling food with care to prevent damage

* Following prescribed routes and schedules to maximize delivery efficiency

* Providing excellent customer service, including obtaining signatures and handling inquiries

* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

* Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance issues promptly

* Adhering to all traffic laws, safety policies, and company procedures

Qualifications

* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Excellent time management and organizational skills

* Strong customer service orientation with effective communication abilities

* Physical capability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems and mobile devices

* Knowledge of local area and routes in Winter Garden and surrounding areas preferred

* Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or related field preferred

* Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be preferred, depending on vehicle type

* Flexible schedule to accommodate varying delivery demands

* Ability to work in various weather conditions

* Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory
