Vice President – Real Estate M&A Investment Banking

JLL Securities, an affiliate of Jones Lang LaSalle, is seeking a Vice President for its leading real estate M&A investment banking practice located in New York, NY. The team focuses on strategic transactions across public/non‑traded/private REITs, real estate operating companies and developers, funds, and asset/investment managers.

• Spearhead complex valuation analyses and financial modeling exercises.
• Organize and draft memoranda, presentation materials, and marketing materials.
• Oversee operating, financial and accounting due diligence.
• Prepare and participate in client presentations.
• Manage multiple aspects of day‑to‑day transaction execution.
• Review and analyze public company filings, legal documents, internal & third‑party data / research and other materials as part of the transaction process.
• Interact with senior management of clients and investors on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Maintain daily communication with leaders of other JLL business lines such as Investment Sales, Debt Placement, Research and Global Capital.
• Begin building a resume of deal activity and industry relationships to facilitate the team’s pipeline and business model.

• 5+ years of investment banking or finance experience (real estate, M&A, capital markets preferred).
• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong corporate finance background.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience overseeing, mentoring, and training analysts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interface with top‑level executives and clients.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and capable of managing several tasks simultaneously.

Estimated compensation: $250,000–$250,000 per year (subject to qualifications, market, etc.).
