Job Overview

Power Shell Testing Techniques Developer position located in Madison, WI. This developer will assist in the development of data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives, construct ETL mappings, and support development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of BI solutions. The role requires working as a technical developer for the Business Intelligence Team, performing data analysis on existing source data and developing and testing platform solutions.

• Assist in the development of scalable architecture for the data warehouse.
• Identify and prioritize subject areas to be included in the data warehouse.
• Extract, cleanse, aggregate, transform, and validate data to ensure quality standards.
• Analyze and trace through ETL code base to troubleshoot.
• Implement and optimize ETL processes.
• Establish processes for maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the ongoing success of the warehouse.
• Prepare technical specification documents and perform technical development.

• 6 to 9 years of experience or equivalent education.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, Power Shell, and ETL tools such as BODS, Informatica, or SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and application of programming/scripting languages.
• Experience using client query tools: SQL, PL/SQL, Java.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and applications such as Business Objects Data Services, Informatica, SSIS.
• Experience with testing techniques.
• Work under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
• WI residency required.

• Effective verbal communication and writing skills.
• Good understanding of project management and methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience deploying containers on Kubernetes.
