* Position Overview:
** The Principal Health Systems Marketing Director, Cancerguard, drives marketing strategy and execution for Exact Sciences’ multi-cancer screening test in health systems. This position leads development of positioning, messaging, and resources that create differentiation for Cancerguard among C- and D-suite health system leaders; guides segmentation and targeting activities; collaborates with field leaders and account managers to drive execution; and establishes and measure KPIs to gauge effectiveness of key initiatives.
This position cultivates and synthesizes market and customer insights to ensure in-depth, real-time understanding of drivers and barriers to test adoption.
This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders that include Marketing teams for other Exact Sciences tests, Portfolio & Partnerships Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Analytics, Corporate Strategy, Research & Insights, Health Economics & Outcomes Research, Training, and Sales leadership to develop, design, execute, assess, and refine initiatives in the health system channel.
** Essential Duties
** Include but are not limited to the following:
* Develop differentiated, ownable positioning and translate to customer-centric messaging and narratives
* Possess and maintain a keen understanding of the health system segment, including organizational structures, decision makers, priorities, and challenges in the space
* Lead development of marketing resources and collateral and drive deployment across paid, shared, and owned channels – including field account managers
* Initiate market research and voice-of-customer programs to inform and validate marketing strategy, messaging, and resource development
* Lead rigorous, data-driven customer targeting activities focused on increasing product adoption and expanding utilization among appropriate populations
* Facilitate co-creation with key health system accounts to generate or assess new offerings
* Lead annual brand and strategic planning activities designed to achieve corporate and business unit objectives
* Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to assess effectiveness of ongoing strategies and tactics, and develop strategies to address opportunities for improvement
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and has a track record of translating differentiated value propositions into compelling marketing assets/tools.
* Comfortable working in capability build/white space environments with inherent ambiguity requiring strategic and tactical agility/flexibility.
* Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
* Regular and reliable attendance.
* Ability to travel approximately 30% of working time.
* Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 10% of a typical working day (note that office positions can accommodate sitting and standing needs, so this may not be relevant).
* Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 70% of a typical working day.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*** A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, science or related field.
* 8+ years of progressively responsible experience within marketing, sales or related function.
* Demonstrated success with assimilating data/publications into compelling commercial messages.
* Knowledge of cancer diagnostics, molecular diagnostics, or preventive health markets.
