Security Officer

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Security Officer. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of assigned client locations through active patrols, monitoring, and enforcement of established security procedures. Daily responsibilities include observing and reporting unusual activity, controlling access to client premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with all operational and safety protocols. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and sound judgment in both routine and high-pressure situations.

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned properties to deter and detect security risks
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems
• Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures
• Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and client requests
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and team members

• Strong observational and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure situations
• Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols
• Prior security or related experience preferred (training provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must meet all company and state licensing requirements
