Accounts Semi Senior is required for a leading independent practice firm in Manchester City Centre.

Your new company Our client, a well‑established and highly respected independent accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi‑Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within a supportive, modern, and client‑focused firm.

• Prepare year‑end accounts for SMEs, OMBs, and limited companies
• Prepare management accounts where required
• Assist with corporation tax computations
• Complete VAT returns and general bookkeeping tasks
• Liaise directly with clients to request information, resolve queries, and support their ongoing accounting needs
• Work with a range of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Quick Books, and Sage

• Experienced in accounts preparation within a practice environment
• Confident communicating directly with clients
• Familiar with owner‑managed businesses and limited company accounting
• Studying AAT or ACCA (or looking to start/continue studies)
• Proactive, organised, and eager to progress within a reputable firm

Hybrid 2 days from home and three days in the office, flexible working and clear development plans.
