Labourer, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Building Maintenance

Overview

MSV Housing is committed to ensuring our customers have high-quality, safe homes. Our Labourers provide general labouring work for the group to a high and consistent standard and work as part of the repairs team to support service delivery.

• Carry out general labouring, maintenance and minor repair works across domestic and commercial properties to a high standard.
• Prepare, clean and maintain work sites, including waste removal and site clearance, ensuring properties are left clean and safe.
• Operate tools, machinery and equipment safely, following risk assessments, health and safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Support efficient delivery of works by loading materials, assisting with planning, and accurately recording daily activities.
• Provide excellent customer service, liaising with tenants, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring customer satisfaction on completion of work.

• A relevant trade qualification (City & Guilds or minimum NVQ Level
  2) or substantial hands-on experience.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West.
• Proven experience working within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on time and to agreed standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• A customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and perform effectively under pressure.
• A professional, reliable and flexible attitude, with a commitment to MSV’s values and customer service standards.
