Production Technician

Position: Production Technician (Permanent)
Location: Salford

We’re hiring for a Production Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Little Hulton, Salford.

In this role, you will be assembling, testing and fault-finding precision pipeline inspection systems in a modern workshop.

What will you be doing as a Production Technician?

* Assembling and building sub-assemblies and finished products from works orders

* Picking parts, using tools/equipment and soldering to a good standard

* Fault-finding and repairing electrical & mechanical assemblies

* Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products meet standards

* Monitoring stock levels and assisting with goods-in when required

* Participating in stock takes and maintaining a clean, organised workspace

* Supporting production plans, covering absences and promoting lean improvements

What will you need?

* Experience in a manufacturing/production assembly environment

* Ability to solder and fault-find on electrical/mechanical products

* HNC in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
