- Grounds Maintenance Operative Role Profile.docx Join our Grounds Maintenance Team at L&Q: L&Q’s Clean Start are looking for an enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy team.
Working as part of our ground’s maintenance team, you will work alongside other operatives and undertake grounds maintenance services to all contracted sites which can include aspects of hard/soft landscaping such as grass cutting, strimming, clearing foliage and removal of unwanted growth from trees.
As an operative you will work with a local team on site under the supervision of an Operational Mentor, ensuring our customer standards are delivered, and that the customers experience of our service is positive.
You will be a proactive member of the team, actively learning from customer feedback to improve the service delivery.
Ideally you will have experience and knowledge of using equipment to maintain green spaces and have a can-do attitude with a flexible approach to your working hours, particularly in the summertime.
Training can be provided for the right candidate.
· PA1/PA6 spray licence and driving licence desirable but not essential.
