Position:  Allied Global Marketing Fall 2019 Hospitality Public Relations Internship Program
The Allied Global Marketing NYC Internship Program is designed to introduce aspiring professionals to careers in the public relations industry, while honing skills necessary to succeed in entry-level positions and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROGRAM BENCHMARKS
- Familiarization with local, regional and national media through research and list building
- Understanding of agency clients through press clipping and reporting
- Participation in client brainstorms
- Draft pitches and press materials under the guidance of supervisors
- Accompany supervisors on television and photo shoots
- Staff special events and interface with attending media

PROGRAM TIMELINE
The duration of the internship is a minimum of three months and a maximum of six months. All interns are required to be in the office at least two-three days a week for a minimum of 15-20 hours.

COMPENSATION
Course credit is available upon successful completion of internship.

REQUIREMENTS
Internship candidates must be able to work effectively with a close-knit agency on public relations efforts for a diverse range of clients in hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, and lifestyle sectors. S/he must have good organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines. S/he must have strong verbal and written communications skills with a demonstrated passion for pursuing a career in public relations or a related field. Current students and recent graduates preferred.
