Associate Project Manager –
Reports To:
Program Manager
Support the Project Manager in coordinating D&I projects to ensure achievement of time, quality and cost objectives in alignment with customer expectations and regulatory requirements (FDA cGMP, BRCGS Consumer Products Standard, ISO 9001).
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities- Manages and coordinates the projects activities assigned by the Project Manager and Program Manager.
- Coordinate trial runs, customer visits support, and prepare documentation for both internal and external usage.
- Coordinate and support suppliers (material and process), factory visits, technical meetings, and generic activity follow‑up.
- Act as Project Manager backup in all activities assigned by the manager in their absence.
- Participate in internal project meetings and execute and track assigned tasks and next steps.
- May be required to develop technical documentation such as specifications, product datasheets, and project charters.
- Assist with coordinating and completing the project, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress; may handle more than one project simultaneously.
- Exhibit a creative mindset to perform the role effectively.
- Serve as the main technical contact for specific customers, supporting the Group in understanding client needs and fostering relationships to develop potential new business.
- Coordinate project timeline activities in collaboration with all departments within the company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; technical background, especially chemistry, is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing in a leadership role coordinating activities.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills; project management experience is a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English; teamwork capability.
- Good knowledge of MS Project, MS Office, MS Excel, SAP; knowledge of MS Power BI and/or Power Automate tools is a plus.
- Stand 10% of the time; walk 10% of the time; sit 80% of the time.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or touch 100% of the time.
- Reach above shoulders less than 10% of the time; climb or balance less than 10% of the time.
- Talk or hear 70% of the time.
- Lift up to 25 pounds up to 5% of the time.
- Lack of close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); color vision and focus adjustment ability are required.
- Computer up to 85% of the time.
- Copier less than 5% of the time; telephone up to 10% of the time.
- Lab equipment up to 5% of the time.
- Work near moving mechanical parts less than 10% of the time.
- Work in high places less than 5% of the time.
- Exposed to chemical smells up to 10% of the time.
- Work around electrical equipment 10% of the time.
- Job related travel less than 15% of the time, may be required to travel.
- Moderate noise; steel‑toed shoes, hair/beard net, safety glasses, and other PPE as required.
