Job Description

Seeking a Literacy Coach for grades K-8. Literacy Coaches will work in identified schools to increase student achievement through improved language and literacy outcomes. They will provide both systems and instructional coaching to support the implementation of a multi-tiered system of support for literacy.

• Ohio Educator License effective through July 1, 2026
• At least 3-5 years of teaching experience that included reading/literacy instruction or content teaching with tutoring in reading
• Master’s in Literacy/Reading, a related field, and a reading endorsement or IDA accreditation through a vendor or higher‑education institute
• General Educators K‑8, Special Education Educators K‑8, Interventionists K‑12, Dyslexia Practitioners K‑12, TESOL endorsed educators K‑12, Title I Reading Educators K‑12, Literacy coaches K‑8, Instructional coaches K‑8
• Completed Ohio required modules (HB 33) in the past four years
• Retired educators with recent experience (within the last four years) familiar with dyslexia requirements and the science of reading are also encouraged to apply
• At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
• Master’s degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
