Process Technician - 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities- Performallaspectsoftheinjectionmoldingprocesstoinclude,set-up,startupandshutdown, troubleshooting,equipmentmaintenanceandworkflow.
- Direct and monitor the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule. Create cycle time reductions where possible.
- Perform process troubleshooting, tooling setting, material setting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality.
- Work with Engineering on current and new molds for alternative material sampling and new product sampling.
- Verify documents, including start up and in process product inspection sheets, process monitoring log, changeover check list.
- Prepare and set up support equipment (i.e. circulators, grinders, thermolator, hot runner controller, material dryer and material loader, etc.) as needed in the production area prior to start up.
- Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work.
- Experience setting up and operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, including robots, is required.
- Experience diagnosing process issues, making minor repairs, controlling quality, and maintaining high levels of uptime on machines.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to read measuring devices, i.e. micrometer, vernier calipers, Acu-Gauge, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
- Master Molder certification preferred
