Position: Coordinator for Information & Privacy Management
Serve as the Information and Privacy Coordinator for the Police Services at the City of Maple Ridge. Focus on managing requests under the Access to Information and Privacy Act.

The City of Maple Ridge is looking for a dedicated coordinator to oversee the compliance of information request regulations. This role involves interpreting legislation and applying RCMP policies. Ideal candidates will have significant familiarity with privacy laws and the skills to maintain excellent working relationships with various contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle requests for information in compliance with legislation

• Apply knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act

• Maintain accurate records and documents

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external parties

• Make resourceful decisions in line with established protocols

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma with relevant commercial courses

• Significant experience in related fields preferred

• Strong knowledge of office procedures and technology

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Ability to navigate sensitive topics with tact
