Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and research industry, is seeking a LAB Technician I to join their team. As a LAB Technician I, you will be part of the R&D department supporting product development and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: LAB Technician I
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: 18-21/hr
What's the Job?
- Preparing test samples for various material properties assessments
- Testing physical and mechanical properties of tapes, films, adhesives, and other materials
- Recording test results accurately and assisting with data analysis
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring proper inventory levels
- Supporting the development and modification of test methods and procedures
- Experience with laboratory testing and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and testing issues
- Proficiency in data management and software systems
- Effective communication skills for reporting results and collaborating with team members
