What You Will Be DoingAs the Fuel System Engineer you will be responsible for delivering fluid and mechanical engineering solutions within advanced development programs, focusing on aircraft fuel system design, analysis, and aerial refueling.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Lead system‑level fuel design and analysis to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IPT members to translate customer requirements into integrated system solutions.
- Develop and validate aero‑refueling concepts and support test planning and execution.
- Manage technical trade studies balancing schedule, cost, and risk.
- Provide technical guidance and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prior experience with Aerial Refueling Systems
- Knowledgeable of governing specifications and standards
- Prior defense or aerospace industry customer experience
- Prior technical team experience related to the development or support of aircraft fuel systems
- Experience with defense / aerospace industry supplier management
- Experience troubleshooting faults on complex systems
- Experience creating, updating, and releasing engineering drawings
