Position Overview
Lead the Facilities and Plant Engineering efforts for Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics facilities across Marietta, Johnstown, Clarksburg, Pinellas, Greenville, and Meridian. Manage an 8‑million‑square‑foot portfolio supporting C‑130, C‑5, F‑35, F‑22, P‑3, and core programs. Provide executive support, budget execution, and regulatory compliance while guiding a 200‑person team.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the investment, maintenance, and construction of facilities and plant engineering across multiple sites.
- Execute capital budget of approximately $225 million annually, managing PPE capital, overhead, rent credit obligations, and direct budgets.
- Develop and maintain the Site Facilities Strategic Plan in support of core aeronautics functions.
- Represent Lockheed Martin aeronautics externally, communicating with site leaders, community stakeholders, and Air Force authorities.
- Lead risk mitigation actions, including property, zoning, pollution, waste, and unliquidated rent liability management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in facilities and plant engineering, including HVAC, boiler, furnace, production systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing operating power generation and distribution, industrial waste management, and facility engineering for large portfolio.
- Strong project management skills and ability to communicate with executive leadership.
- Experience building relationships and understanding facility requirements for programs at 4‑year‑old pilots or warfighters.
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, facility management, or other related discipline.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in plant maintenance, construction management, and managing subcontractors.
- Experience working in Collective Bargaining Agreements environments.
Secret clearance required. US Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
