The Roll Shop Lead ensures safety, quality, and production performance of the Rolling Mill process. The role coordinates and executes all aspects of procuring, scheduling, and maintaining Roll Shop equipment, prioritizing safety. It oversees daily Roll Shop operations while fostering growth and development of the direct team. Continuous learning and cross‑training within the Rolling Mill and other departments support day‑to‑day operations and overall division success.

Strong relationships with mill, maintenance, and sales teams, and a collaborative leadership approach are critical.

Safety is the foundation of every job  Roll Shop Lead must consistently initiate, champion, and enforce safety policies, practices, and procedures, maintaining high housekeeping and organizational standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in industrial maintenance or an adjacent field.
• Experience performing and tracking preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures.
• Experience with process scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CAD and CAM software.

• Experience with steel rolling mill process, equipment, and technology.
• Experience with CNC turning, milling, and notching operations.
• Knowledge of operational systems and maintenance best practices.
