Job Summary
As a key member of the Supply Chain department, and reporting to the Supervisor, Supply Chain, the Parts Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and facilitating the timely flow of automotive components from suppliers to customers or service technicians.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure sufficient inventory levels for locally sourced items.
Coordinate with local vendors to ensure products are timely shipped.
Timely processing of local supplier invoices.
Ensure initial orders are placed for new vehicle launches.
Other key tasks as assigned.
Required Competencies
3+ years of experience in customer service, procurement, or supply chain operations.
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable Canadian university.
Experience working with local suppliers and purchase order management.
Hands‑on experience with P2P processes and ERP systems (Asset).
Exposure to JIT methods (Asset).
Firm understanding of the P2P process.
Vendor relationship management and communication skills.
Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
