As the Inventory Management Specialist , you take ownership of keeping stock records accurate, managing inbound receiving, and tracking inventory movements. Based in Markham, Ontario , you play a vital role in ensuring materials flow smoothly across the supply chain, resolving discrepancies, and driving efficient warehouse and production operations across North America.
General Responsibilities- Manage up-to-date and accurate inventory records in SAP
- Ensure ad-hoc and routine cycle counts are executed timely and as per procedure by Logistics Service Partners, follows analysis and corrective actions
- Organize and lead annual/physical stock counts as per procedure
- Investigate and help resolve inventory variances or discrepancies (quantity, lot number…) in coordination with Logistics Services Partners and DKSH teams
- Monitor inbound and outbound inventory transactions for accuracy
- Assist in generating inventory and usage reports and analysis for internal teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to inventory accuracy and efficiency, including data exchange automation initiatives
- Monitor Logistics Services Partners performance and compliance as per SOP
- Experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain environments; at least 3 years of prior experience in 3PL management or a similar Inventory Management role
- Advanced Excel skills required with prior experience analyzing complex data such as inventory trends, stock levels, or demand patterns
- Proficient in SAP and Power BI
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Effective problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to travel
