Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide essential care to adult and geriatric patients, utilizing critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisive judgments in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Medical/Surgical unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Utilize telemetry monitors and other medical equipment for patient monitoring.
- Document patient care in the Electronic Health Record system (Cerner).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical unit preferred.
