We are looking for a Production Location Manager to manage and direct the everyday needs of Beck’s seed production and processing at our newly acquired Marshall, MO facility. As the site manager, you are responsible for overall seed processing operations, people management, and reporting on quality conditions to the Processing Manager. This position is authorized to perform the steps necessary to ensure the responsibilities are met.

- Manage and ensure the successful processing of seed corn, wheat, soybeans and any other seed processing that may take place at the location.
- Work with Processing Manager to keep accurate records of production and processing output and supplies needed for processing.
- Work with Production and Processing Managers to plan production and processing and determine specific needs to effectively provide seed for sale and shipping.
- Monitor quality throughout production and processing to ensure quality seed.
- Perform other related duties as may be required by the Processing Manager.
- Education and training:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.
- Technical knowledge:
- Basic computer and current software skills.
- CDL or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete Beck’s Fork Lift training may be required.

- Overnight travel may be required based on project needs at Beck’s regional locations and may vary in duration of time.
- Must be required to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to pass DOT physical examination and obtain Medical Examiner’s Certificate may be required.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in the seed industry, preferably in processing.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience managing personnel.
