Associates in Pick Pack are expected to be able to:
• Work in a safe manner at all times.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Lift cartons up to 50 lbs.
• Operate RF scan units.
• Read information on the RF scan unit, the case label, labels in garments and location barcodes.
• Count garments being picked.
• Walk for the duration of their scheduled shift.
• Communicate with supervision, team leads, or other associates.
• Meet expected productivity requirements.
• Maintain expected accuracy levels.
Associates in Pick Pack will receive work instructions from their supervisor and/or team leads.
Obtain an RF unit at the beginning of the shift and maintain custody of the RF unit until it is turned in at the end of the shift.
Select a pick cart based on work instructions.
Use the RF unit to assign cartons to the pick cart.
Follow instructions on the RF unit to maneuver through the picking area to the first pick location displayed on the RF unit.
Check garments in the location to ensure correct size color and style.
Scan location barcode.
Count the correct number of units. Enter the count into the RF unit.
Place the garments into the carton identified on the RF unit.
Scan the carton.
Repeat this process until all garments are picked.
Deliver the pick cart to the designated drop point.
Return to the start area and begin the process with a new picking cart.
Associates in pick pack may be required to learn other tasks including creating cartons, applying carton labels, inserting required
cartons that have been picked,supplies for each carton, restocking pick locations using a pallet jack, palletizing cartons that have been picked
maintaining housekeeping in the picking area or task as directed by the picking supervisor or team lead.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require now, or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
