Registrations and Deductions Administrator
Tile House Surgery has an opportunity for a registrations and deductions administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered on apart-time basis for 20 hours per week (split into 4 x 5 hour shifts) over 4 days (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday).
Main duties of the job- Processing all new patient registrations, ensuring all documentation is completed and filed correctly.
- Manage temporary and immediate necessary patient registrations.
- Inputting information from new patient questionnaires into patient records.
- Receive the Lloyd George records and update the computer system.
- Processing GP2GP transfers.
- Processing deductions for patients leaving the practice as per protocol.
- Prepare the Lloyd George records for deducted patients ready for collection.
- Update records accurately and ensure appropriate archiving or transfer of medical notes.
- Receive and make calls to/from patients with any queries to any part of the registration process or regarding address queries.
- Manage all internal transfers.
Tile House Surgery isalarge training practice, serving a patient population of13,500.We pride ourselves on the level of care we provide to our patients and staff.

Person Specification Experience- An experienced administrator, with excellent IT, time management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently.
- Ability to support and adhere to policy and procedures
- Ability to cope with change effectively
- Ability to work in a small team, enhance morale and maintain a positive working environment
- Primary care experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience using Systm One is desirable but not essential
